    Are you sure the shower is 6kw and not 9kw.. What make of isolator have you used? Did you inspect the inside of the shower unit when you replaced the isolator?

    It will probably be the best £475 quid you’ve ever spent.. That model is the top spec in the 1700 range.. Good chance you might get it calibrated for free if you speak nicely to certain branch managers... if not 25 to 35 quid to get it calibrated.. Still getting a grands worth of tester for £500..

    That driver is designed primarily for lighting.. Just get a basic Meanwell psu at the same rating

    Why use a psu with dimming functions? Just a standard Meanwell dc power supply would do? Which would cost less. Will there be good air movement around the psu?

    Ahh right I took it that the work was in their very big house.. Negotiating hourly rates is ok if the work is guaranteed and they are good payers... Good chance a lot of the work will be call outs, do you charge extra per call out?
