UK Powered speaker tripped circuits four times over a couple weeks, insulation tester result seems ok, need advice.

When you say tripped what type of device was it,mcb, rcbo,Arc Fault Detection Device or (RCD) Residual Current Device a picture of your consumer unit indicating which device tripped would be handy

    Floating Neutral

I cant believe the panels are 12 volt 1 KW that would be 83 amps per panel, i suspect some chinese figure manipulation is going on here. In any case you cant connect it in any way shape or form to an existing installation.this can only ever be a stand alone system maybe in combination with some...

    Lockable sockets wired wrongly

This is why we conduct eicrs ,i wonder if i should inform the manufacturer , it seems unlikely the installer would alter all the pre wired connections but you never know i guess.

    Lockable sockets wired wrongly

During an eicr i found that all of the lockable sockets had reverse polarity , presumably from the manufacturer . Of course this also questions the installation electrician and testing or lack thereof . Has anyone else encountered this ?

    Floating Neutral

Its AC after the inverter so there is no positive, (RCD) Residual Current Device and rcbo dont need an earth to work, these should never be connected to your consumer unit in any way. As stated before they wont be in phase and there is a chance that in a power cut it will backfeed the grid ,this...

been a while since i wired these but a start button usually bridges the hold on contacts and the stop button in series with the coil, you would need more than 2 wires

    Economy 7 supply

Is it not just telling you there is no neutral connection present ? There are probably voltage dividers internally , my kewtech generally reads about half the supply voltage if the neutral or cpc is not connected

I want to install a cigarette lighter on a motorbike to power a 167w phone charger. Feasible?

60 watts is less than 3 amps which is fine with the engine running, is the 167 watts an error?

IEC 61439-1 - Relationship between prospective fault current and diameter of copper wire

I dont think it can withstand that current, thats when it melts . When we use cable we use a maximum temp of 70 C in the uk for standard installation

Any led sensor lights that do not detect through glass?

The sensitivity of the microwave sensor can usually be adjusted, most residents like the feature as it puts the lights on before they open the door, and saves power .

Test the (RCD) Residual Current Device or die

Im not sure it may not be an official schneider label ,with the other problems i found here like a cpc used as a switch live. Probably not the best installler
