    Power to shed. Thoughts?

Quite possible to go that route, but was trying to avoid having to cut out half of the house going horizontal through the wall. The smaller one is for a sky multiroom, and the SWA is for an outdoor security light.

    Power to shed. Thoughts?

To be honest I am not 100% sure on the rules behind exporting the PME, I was under the impression it wasn't allowed? The shed will be made of wood so no extraneous parts I can think of! I've not got my Regs book to hand so I'd have to look into the rules behind that! Again that was an option...

    Power to shed. Thoughts?

I did not, done by previous owner sadly. Its fixed with what looks like incorrect sized clips which is why it looks like its drunk! That's all going to be fixed and tidied up and a new outside light installed.

    Power to shed. Thoughts?

Good evening everyone, So I have a "customer" wanting power supplied to an outside shed they are building in the near future which is going to serve as a sort of outside bar type area. All wiring will be within the shed and the circuits installed will be a radial power circuit and a lighting...

Outdoor junction box for armoured cable

Definitely follow the advice above and get a suitable box mounted to the wall and sort those glads out, or failing that, get someone in who is competent to fix it. Have you issued the spiders an eviction notice yet?

First MFT - thoughts on Di LOG 9083p?

Good evening! I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Di Log 9083p 17th edition MFT. I am looking to get my first MFT and this seems to be coming up as a nice cheapish "starter" one compared to the more expensive Fluke and Megger ones available second hand. They are popping...

    Pete's Videos A clipping masterclass

I may have just become a bit accustomed to only horrendous videos detailing silly work practices being posted here. However, are there any glaring bits wrong with this video, or is this actually a good "how-to" video? If this is so, perhaps a new subform could be established that is actually...

    2 methods of obtaining Ipf?

Measuring it is correct, what test and type of instrument would be used? Calculating it is also another method as you said, V=IR therefore I = V/R in this instance V=Uo and R=Ze. There is one final way of obtaining an Ipf however I think (I may be wrong someone please correct me if so) it may...

    Design Current?

In regards to the lighting circuit, how would you think you'd work it out? What type of power circuits can you have for socket outlets as shown and described in BS 7671?

Shower pull switch opperating on load

I had a similar problem in my home bathroom many years ago. The pull cord switch failed around two times before playing nice (prety sure it's still going to this day, touch wood). During all this the showers had to be replaced once or twice too. I would most definetly say that using it to do...
