    I don’t think the wife would appreciate it! Might find a place in the garage for it. The coupler on the top is 1” but it’s actually an earth coupler, the screws are 2BA. I know the sort you mean when you refer to Conlok, I’ve seen elbows and tees on the smaller 5/8” conduit (usually lighting)...

    Thanks Pete, I was kind of guessing around that time, knew it was older than 1960s. There were also a couple of Crabtree ones, but they weren’t as good condition as this one, plus they had fuse carriers missing, although they were redundant, they were all still connected to live Henley blocks...

    Found this in the cellar of an old house in Durham... The neutral is fused so I’m guessing it’s “really old” Any body know roughly the era it would be?

    Chasing sockets brick blown

    Dry wall adhesive(dot and dab)........dries fairly quick (especially if it’s past it’s use by date!) and it sets rock solid!

    Beware the old KQE RCBO and DOM are made opposite to each other....in terms of fitting to the bus bar. It is possible to remove the clip on the KQE type to give a normal screw terminal (we often did it when fitting into old Merlin Gerin boards) however the new Schneider type you can’t remove...
