@happythe respected idea was
Not for definite but it was one of us.
As you know we have a staff room, where we discuss things while sat around the camp fire, little bit like the Arms for you guys.
And between us decided to come up with a new badge for an handful of members, and the rest is history.
I think a lot of members are getting confused with the whole, Respected Member status.
It is nothing to do with qualifications, it was purely based on staff opinion of selected members, we wanted to say thanks to a few of the guys who over the years had been model members, nobody is perfect so...
I just got back from a Sunday mooch with Jack and am currently having a coffee outside with my pooch, listening to the Dickie birds
Will be going in doors soon to watch Air jaws, with Chris fallows. I love anything, Shark related, especially Great whites.
What about you lot.
@Andystiletiling , we used to have trusted advisor.
Trusted advisor became forum mentor this was for members who helped out in the trainee forum, respected member was something that we came up with in the staff room as a thank you to a few members .
The Apple stores make me cringe, they are so Americanised, morning sir, have a nice day sir.
Full of 20 somethings with excessively white teeth, slicked back hair, trousers that are too short with loafers and no socks.
I want to just run around the store head butting each and everyone of them...
@HandsOffEngineer , respected member is a title that staff introduced a year ago ish.
We were all discussing the members as in who were super helpful, never came on our radar, were respected by other members and who would always give helpful advice to new comers even if that new comer was out...
The only problem Tony is we dont want the wrong people having access, I dont me you by that comment but the trainee forum is a safe haven where trainees can post things in there without worrying about any snotty comments or sarcasm which is a good thing be cause we are trying to encourage them...
I'm a bit late to this party and I haven't read all the replies but it's always been that you cant post a photo of a section from the regs or on site guides etc because of copyright laws.
Because as staff we work as a team, sometimes we need time away from you bunch of wingers I've tried twice to put a smiley face at the end of comment but it wont let me.
I'm here Mike I've had a few things happening away from the forum but alls good mate.
Looks like I've missed a fair bit. Time to catch up by the look of it.
