    As light fitting design goes I'm not sure it gets much worse, any good ideas how I can terminate this pendant, t&e feed for it comes through a timber noggin above plasterboard to support its weight.

    As someone who has only recently started doing some work directly for myself I struggle with this. Quoting for "small jobs" I often find looks expensive on paper, but when you work out what you want per hour I find I'm often pricing it really tight, eps adding in tidying up/testing/paperwork...

    U can't spur off a radial... its just a case of extending the radial circuit. Would you consider it a 'spur'if you went from the last socket on the circuit? You're thinking of the rules for adding additional outlets from a ring final circuit arrangement.
