    High Zs reading

Is this an old install with 1.0mm cpc? Roughly for the figures given for the L&N, cable length would calculate to approx 62 metres the cpc should calculate to approx 0.72 for a 1.5mm and 1.08 for a 1.0mm you may even get a lower reading on the cpc if there are any parallel earth paths.

Ev point on a new build

Not sure if I've missed something but on an recent enquiry to a local wholesaler, a fuseboard mini rcbo (double pole) type A would cost about £14.94 + vat

    How to fix overheating

Have you checked their working voltage or confirmed they are suitable for the supply being used?

Unable to run cables at a sufficient depth outside

I think I’d be scouting around for a collection agency

Unable to run cables at a sufficient depth outside

I take it they know what depth the cable is because they see it going in - but didn’t question the depth at the time?

    Blooming heck

Good website though :) Edit: I also hate the idea they want to add a delivery charge if you order something for pick up.

I find most of what's on their website is never in stock or available anyway.

    How to fix overheating

If wired as shown it doesn't make a lot of sense, so can only reiterate what others have said and say check the wiring. Have you tried swapping the pwm outputs for the servos, what's the chance you have two duff ones (unlikely)? If you have access to a laboratory power supply where you can limit...

    How to fix overheating

As both servo feeds are from the same origin, and only one servo is overheating, I can only suggest at this moment that the pwm output from the Arduino may be programmed wrong or suspect?

Does this main isolator switch require a separate enclosure ?

However, to remove such an adaption would mean to remove the RCD fitted. It’s a mess anyway and needs a lot of work regardless

Does this main isolator switch require a separate enclosure ?

I would guess that looking at the cable entries into the top, they are very unlikely to be sealed and have large gaps? Edit: same with the bottom

Does this main isolator switch require a separate enclosure ?

Cant really see a problem with the separate switch, it isolates all so what's the problem. Can even have an advantage when working inside the CU

    How would you change this.

Unless I could visit site and take some measurements and evaluate it properly, I wouldn't entertain pricing for it.

How to shield a live wire at 240V ?

@240V it would be a band pass filter rather than a band stop filter (parallel) Sorry I had assumed 12v or so, I think I need to read the whole thread so ignore me and go with the much more informed Marconi.
