Ive had 2 o these no so long ago.
One was a conservatory light where they had wired live from a nearby two way switch and taken the neutral from the socket below.
Second was kitchen under unit lights same wiring.
Id be looking around trying to spot the red flags first, opening some accesories...

Yes the building needs to be TT or walk away! Open PEN is not fun for anyoby especially if you have 4 bare feet on true earth.
Yes thats what i read. Never a seen a heater like this before allowed in a bathroom. With a display amd controls, no earth to the metal body(ok must be double insulated).

1- earth bond the roof back to garage cu
2- earth bond to a local earth rod

Hi all. Has anybody experience solar iboost creating problems with immersion heater safety cut out? Does the iboost somehow heat the tank higher than the thermostat or does it have something to do with the iboost heating via DC.
At the end of the day the customer wants 4 sockets and 6 sports and a smoke in the attic, its not a big job, and 3 days to complete? £750 labour and £400 material? Is it just me that finds this a bit of a p**s take?

I dont get why some sparks are holding reports back intil they receive payment, its just going to get peoples backs up! If they dont pay its not the end of the world. Do your job send invoice and eicr at price agreed. Ive not had 1 not pay to date.
