I wonder if someone could help with a little info on the EV Grant scheme,
I have a customer who wants an EV charger installed at their property but this customer has revealed tonight that the car is a motability car in which the registered keeper is at a different address as He is...
The switch needs to be in the timed position for it to work.
You also need to make sure that the time is set right for the clock, off peak and boost times if required.
When I test the off peak side I change the clock to 3am to force the controller to switch on the off peak element, obviously...
I think for your initial assesment you can use your own home for a job such as new circuit or cu change and fill out a cert dated around the time of your inspection so that you can notify it within the 30 days as previously mentioned
I also did my NVQ with Xs training too, did it in 6 months.

How much experience do you have as every day is a learning curve and what sort of work will you be looking for?
Ontop of that have you planned your outgoings, insurance, Pi, van, wages, proffessional...
Your going the right way about it mate, doing a few courses doesnt make you an electrician of any worth, experience is needed and the seasoned sparks would agree that every day is a school day.
In order to sign off your own work you would need to get your C&G 2391 and 18th. But before you can...
Joining a local college to do your C&Glevel 2 +3 on evenings is the best way really mate and Working as a mate to get experience will also be beneficial whilst your training.
