    Talk about taking the P***

Get the customer to "enquire" to the niceic if that cost is justified. I have never even thought of charging separately for notification.

Packages are available near us for 900Mbps download speeds. I really don't understand much past that with data but I've just put cat6 round my house so I'm not upgrading it ever again.

    Power consumption of emergency lights

Generally 8W tubes I thought. Are they maintained/always on ? Any electricity use when your mother goes in to clean such as using other lighting and vacuum cleaners ?

Confused DIY'er needs advice on Chandelier fitting

Yes. Like davesparks says, a screw in cup hook would also suffice. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264142086369

Confused DIY'er needs advice on Chandelier fitting

You'll need a plate bracket with a hook on it.

    Whiska type boxes seals

I always use a gland but I'm sure Wiska do some boxes that have membranes that self seal to at least ip44. Not sure if it's the commonly available ones though. You'd have to check their blurbs.

Not that I'm anywhere near old enough to know, but could he have meant a shilling and thruppence ?

    UK DIY Shocker!!!

You should ring NHS direct and take their guidance. It's advised to get a check up after a shock, but in the current climate I have no idea what's possible.

    Kitchen rewire and isolator switch

What you are trying to avoid is not being able to isolate or an appliance because the appliance itself blocks the means to be able to isolate it. This is a particular problem with integrated appliances. You could have a single position to isolate appliances from, google kitchen grid switch...

    Rcd Board with round knockouts

Hager with no knock outs sounds perfect as you can drill them where you want.

    Self employed income support scheme

It's a weird one for sure. How do I collect evidence of no work ? I could show them my tax return that will only be available to file in 11 months time ?

    Self employed income support scheme

In addition to that the grants are not dependant on you having a lack of work. It was made clear when these were announced you could continue to work and still claim the grant. The payments are based on your last three years tax returns worked out as a monthly average, multiplied by 80%, with...

Has is had a loss of power lately ? Lots of ovens won't work until you set the clock. Are you certain the appliance has power to it ?

So what’s the best insulated screwdrivers?

I use Wiha. But it's a very personal thing it seems as to what fits in your hand best. I trust the quality of Wiha and Wera but don't get on with the Wera handle shape. I have a couple of Milwaukee ones I chucked onto an order from a Milwaukee stockist. They are rubbish.

    Self employed income support scheme

I've done it earlier this morning, but it didn't give me a time or date, just said something like "thank you for your enquiry" with no options to navigate forward. Plenty of time yet to be disappointed anyway.

JIB card... after some advise please

I think that's all you need, apart from the H&S exam of course, which will be problematic or not available right now. Easiest way to do it is make a MyECS account on their website and email them scanned copies of your certs.

Cables buried in wall less than 50mm UK

You are missing the word OR from the end of indent (i) of 522.6.202. That provides clarity.

    2 Gang (1 x Intermediate 1 x 2 way) Light Switch

You can do this with Hager switches too, but irritatingly not a 3g single plate switch. Just had to rewire a circuit at home to make the intermediate somewhere else to suit this. Which was annoying but my own bad planning to blame.
