    1.5mm 25a ,2.5 mm 33a, 4mm 43a you could use any of these for current carrying cap (not sure about volt drop etc ) and could use 25a 32a or 40a MCB at your main board but your right for the cost difference of about 20quid why not put a 4mm in

    If it was me I would look to go slightly bigger as it gives the client a bit of wiggle room in the future .Sod law if the bigger cable is installed they will never use it

    Leep don't fit what your not comfortable with . 10 spark on this site may not see a problem with them ,but they aren't fitting them . Downlight are the worst always get asked to fit some 10 pack of crap that someone has seen for a fiver . Rather make less and be okay with what am fitting

    No messing about with the Chinese always pay in cash don't do banks ,. Know my mate used to rob them for a living . A little note to take away owners don't have your lucky charms hanging in your car as mate will spot when your there or out and don't leave your taking in shoe boxes in the back...

    Its most likely damged insulation and if it keeps tripping then the short may well be able to be detected by a multimeter. If this is the case fish new wires in (dad may have to give a hand) and check where possible that the edges are smooth .
