The use of a separating transformer isolates the control circuits from the main supply. As a result, the Zs measurements on the secondary side of the transformer may not directly reflect the impedance back to the origin of the supply.
The high Zs readings could be attributed to the inherent...
I have been requested to install an audible horn and an amber beacon light on a Powerchair to comply with road regulations. Although the task seems straightforward, I am uncertain about the legal implications of performing this modification.
How I started out finding work.
1) I walked around a shopping area and looked at lighting a signage, then wrote a letter to the manager offering to do the repairs.

You can buy a perfectly functional MFT from Seaward. British made 1557 MFT for £300 brand new. This will carry you through all your training and give you something in your toolbox when you begin working

I had a second hand mobility scooter shop owner tell me that they didn't need to have the machines tested as they were serviced before sale. I asked about testing the chargers, but they weren't interested.
I found a 13A FCU, connected to the kitchen ring supplying an outdoor junction box, providing two SWA 2.5mm radials. Unconventional? yes. One radial 3m long to IP56 socket, and one radial supplying garage unit, lightning and power.
I would suggest that you get the IET Code of Practice "Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation ".
I would reccomend that you have your CCU upgraded to include RCCB's.
If you have 3 phases, why not use 3 phase chargers. Using single phase, the 3 loads could be unbalanced anyway, depending on each vehicles charge state, and whether they were all present at the same time, or not.
Okay, I thought you meant an NVQ attached to the EVC course. I see Trade Skills bundle the EVC with their Domestic Installer Part P course so how can they get away with not meeting the requirements?
