That was my thoughts also Westy, just that the guy at technical services seems adamant I could load it with 30 leds. Just wondered if anyone had done this and what the results were. Technology moving so fast now its a pain to keep up
Hi, hope someone can advise. Ive just called Varilight helpline in regards to max loadings on their 300w trailing edge LED single gang dimmer. They tell me that I can have a maximum of x30 10w leds on the dimmer.
Most info out there regarding dimming LED suggests to divide the dimmers wattage...
Fracking has been around since the 1940's, its not a totally new method of extracting hydrocarbons. Gas is also the cleanest (C02) of the hydrocarbons. I dont think fracking is as dangerous as its being reported and is being hyped up. Much of the content in the videos posted above "Gaslands"...
1.8 of a lamps load to compensate for inrush seems a bit low in comparison to the general (x 5 - x 10) recommendation within the google ether; although any specific compensation must be lamp dependant which im guessing Zano is basing the 1.8 on. I will call them tomorrow but I would hazard a...
And there was I thinking that each led lamp ratins need to be timsed by 10 the account for start up. So 24 led lamps rated at 10 w each would need a dimmer with a rating of 2.4 Kw; so i looks like your 500w dimmer wont cut it ! All 24 lamps are on one switch !
Thanks for reply, looked at the GraphicEye aswell but cosmetically it looks a bit too "cool" and is a bit overkill with all the add on stuff ect ect ect ect. Think the Mirage will be okay

So if I need a dimmer for 24 x 10w leds (all on a single switch/dimmer), the dimmer...

What options is there to control x 24 (10-15w) led's ??
The original unit thats been there for years was an MK Master Unit Ln 1590, a 3KW dimmer, without...
Im looking for an dimmer switch to operate 24 x 15w led bayonet lamps (360w); I can find grid switches but want to find something all in a single unit. Can anyone recommend a product ?
