My stepdad purchased one of those atari flashbacks, those wireless controllers are SHOCKING. They use infrared and you have to be very close for it to work. Would not recommend it. I broke it within 10 mins of playing space invaders. Was doing great as well :( ;(

So SWA, Twin and Earth, MICC, SY, FP200 ext, Double insulated Flex, and Double insulated Meter tails would all be okay.
But if someone (Not me) was to run single cores or bare MICC, then it would need Earthing.
Wouldn't cable tray be an exposed conductive part, assuming you can touch it??

Appendix 15 states:
An unfused spur may be connected to the origin of the circuit in the Distribution board.
So I would stick with the Minor works and not a EIC because it's a addition to the existing circuit.
Minor Works Certificate, as its just an addition to an existing circuit and doesn't extend to the provision of a new circuit.
