    Where do people advertise etc.

I used google pay per click (PPC), works ok but depends how much you're willing to spend, you're looking at £100-£200 per month, time will tell how it works for you, and you also need a website to go with it. That and Yell.com, maybe try some local newspapers as well. Good luck.

Not sure how to re-wire this switch

If it's a light switch, wire the brown 'supply' into the common of the new switch, and the brown 'load' into L1. Connect the blues together as they'd are neutrals.

    One price range for all

I'm not going to charge the same money as Dave who isn't qualified, doesn't test, doesn't pay insurances, doesn't pay to be with a scam, doesn't pay tax, and generally does a ---- job......the list goes on and on.

    Wholesaler recommendation

Get accounts with them all, CEF, Yesss, Electric Centre, Edmundsons, any local suppliers you have around you.......decide which one you prefer after a month or 2. I use Yesss because they are 2 mins away from my house and the guys are brilliant, have an Electric Centre next door and CEF just...

    Why aren't ring circuits banned?

Run a 2.5mm for the 3 sockets and stick it in a 20a, or 4mm on a 32a as long as it isn't covered in insulation not going to be a problem.

    Spurring off a ring

Yes, if the cable was coming into the S2 back box but straight into the terminals of S1, then from there into S2, it would be a ring so both could be spurred off.

Delay start timer bathroom extractor fan

Tell them to have the fan switched on separately as Jack mentioned, don't know why they wouldn't want it that way anyway, that's how I try and do it most of the time and have it that way in my house, simple but effective.

Calling all self employed! Wholesaler related

My branch of Yesss are like a smaller wholesaler to me, I only deal with them and it's really personal, have accounts with Electric Centre and CEF but it's not the same. Defo about building up a relationship.
