I used google pay per click (PPC), works ok but depends how much you're willing to spend, you're looking at £100-£200 per month, time will tell how it works for you, and you also need a website to go with it. That and Yell.com, maybe try some local newspapers as well. Good luck.
If it's a light switch, wire the brown 'supply' into the common of the new switch, and the brown 'load' into L1. Connect the blues together as they'd are neutrals.

Yes, if the cable was coming into the S2 back box but straight into the terminals of S1, then from there into S2, it would be a ring so both could be spurred off.
Tell them to have the fan switched on separately as Jack mentioned, don't know why they wouldn't want it that way anyway, that's how I try and do it most of the time and have it that way in my house, simple but effective.
