    Cannot you just disconnect 1 at a time? Only takes a few mins to fit a nut and flying lead.

    Using the rings is not a prerequisite, paint can be ground off, serrated washers or nuts can be used. Is the armour being used as a CPC? It’s it connected to ground at the field end, what is the make up of the gland plate? Is it a continuous piece of metal or is it held on by 4 small screws...

    IP55 or IP65 (or better) rated TPN board

    Cannot you just put a standard board into a GRP inclosure? I’ve done that a few times. You can also buy just the backplates, done that too for power distribution in a very large control panel, looked a very neat job.

    How to terminate 20mm PVC conduit into a back box/socket - preferred method, whilst maintaing IP rating ?

    A male adapter has a larger sealing face. So use that and an IP washer of some sort. PVC conduit systems are a bit pants though for water resistance.
