Thanks - silly questions... how do I reset the RCD? I noticed there is a middle button in the off position. Is meant to be in that position ?

    Power outage to kitchen area

Hi, The power supply to part of the kitchen has gone. This includes fridge, cooker, fan extractor, dishwasher and some power sockets to the kitchen worktop. Rest of power sockets in the kitchen have power and rest of the house is ok. The switch for "Cooker" in the RCD was in the up position...

Pyronix Enforcer wireless low battery message

Hi, I have a Pyronix Enforcer v9.13 panel. Recently, the panel has been making random alerts (when the system is unarmed) that the bell box battery is low. A few hours later in the logs, there is also a message stating that the 'wireless battery restore' - when no change has actually been...

    50W LED floodlight problems

Hi Specialist. Agree and noted already. Also, extending the on duration to a couple of minutes rather than a few seconds!

    50W LED floodlight problems

Hi Specialist. Yes, bad connections for the first and second unit is also an explanation. Will definitely see how the lamps operates this week before making any changes. Thanks for your help and all others that replied for this issue. Have learnt quite a bit along the way!

    50W LED floodlight problems

Hi Specialist. Sorry for the confusion. I have an update of this issue now as well. First 50W unit was supplied by electrician's supplier. They did flex & plug to the lamp and reported back dim brightness, but don't know if this was intermittent when this was done. Second 50W unit was again...

    50W LED floodlight problems

The other difference is that 30W has no override switch whereas 50W does (using the 3 core + earth cable (?) )

    50W LED floodlight problems

@David M Think the electrician said 230V measured. I will see what luck the third replacement unit brings. Suggestion so far ... (1) First 2 units faulty (from a manufacturing batch) (2) Weak contacts in installation (3) Incompatibility between floodlight and PIR (4) Incorrect wiring (!) (5)...

    50W LED floodlight problems

@Marvo. I'm afraid I don't know. These are the ones we tried so far ... IP44 180° PIR sensor - black | ML Accessories - https://www.mlaccessories.co.uk/product/1406799/ip44-180-pir-sensor-black LAP Standalone PIR - http://www.screwfix.com/p/lap-standalone-pir/6630f Also, I get the same...

    50W LED floodlight problems

@telectrix. Apologies, is the "switch" you are talking about the manual switch override to keep the power onto the 50W unit, without the PIR triggering the floodlight

    50W LED floodlight problems

@Marvo. The PIRs are separate. Tried Knightbridge and LAP brands. Made no difference.
