Can anyone ID this switch type?

Tbh I haven't yet taken it off the wall, but given the switches themselves are moving out of alignment I suspect you are right.

Can anyone ID this switch type?

I've never come across this type before. Very odd.

Can anyone ID this switch type?

Is anyone able to ID this switch for me? As you can see in the photo the switches are coming apart.

    25mm to 16mm in-line crimp

So that's a good suggestion, although it still means trying to wrestle a 25mm cable up to the earth terminal.

    25mm to 16mm in-line crimp

Anyone know if it is possible to buy 25mm to 16mm in-line crimps? This would be so useful taking 25mm SWA down to 16mm for CU termination without the need to do 2 x lugs and bolt them together.

    Do I need a TP&N fused isolator?

Currently waiting for UKPN to pick up the phone - hopeful for an answer from them as to the best way to approach this.

    Do I need a TP&N fused isolator?

Yeah. 4 floor house. Power enters via basement, 1 phase being used for basement flat. Other 2 phases being taken to a ryfield on 1st floor to feed 3 flats above. Bit of a weird one I know as you've got the supply infrastructure split into two locations.

    Do I need a TP&N fused isolator?

Sorry if people are struggling to follow me on this one. In short, normally you'd want to have a fused isolator on a sub main. Do you however need to do this for a 'riser', given its not DNO property but sits after their cutout fuses and before the Ryefield, again with its own main fuses?

    Do I need a TP&N fused isolator?

The current install is a mess hence the work. 4 core SWA being used as a riser to Ryefield (2 phases, N and E).

    Do I need a TP&N fused isolator?

So the three-phase incoming supply has been split as follows: Phase 1 > basement flat CU Phase 2 > 1st-floor Ryefield > ground floor CU + first floor CU Phase 3 > 1st-floor Ryefield > second floor CU The SWA needs re-doing and tbh I think I'll spec an additional core to bring all three phases...

    Do I need a TP&N fused isolator?

So the situation is this: Historic 4 story townhouse to 4 flats conversion. Supplier 3-phase cut out coming in at basement level (One of these will have a 60amp fuse, unsure whether the other 2 contain solid links or additional 60amp fuses yet). 1 phase feeding basement. 4-core SWA containing...

Cut out mess - who is responsible?

The fuses are sealed along the top. The ryefield board had a DNO seal (see photo). Given the cut out needs to supply meter tails for the basement flat but also the 'riser' for the Ryefield how best would you terminate? Options I see are: 1) Have UKPN move the basement cutout into the communal...

Cut out mess - who is responsible?

Just spoke to UKPN on the phone. They consider it a 'riser' and therefore not their problem. Why am I not surprised?
