The problem being that there may be more than just the obvious. The customer plans on doing quite a lot to the property and wants peace of mind that the electrical installation is of a satisfactory nature.

Its not just the fact that they arnt level that would annoy me its just awful to look at with all those FCU’s. I assume they are for intergrated appliances? Couldnt they have been put into an adjacent cupboard or even in a switch bank above work top?
No problem, i think they are preying on people they feel might be desperate for the work but i aren't desperate enough or prepared to drop my standards.
These are my thoughts. I only found out the price today. Up until now i have said i may be interested as its work i wanted to do more of and its on my doorstep. Now i know the full details i think i’ll be steering well clear. Also the price is the same regardless of the size of property!!!!
