    new reqs

I do agree with you on the last bit David , but I find it quite astounding that they do not require the 2391 or what ever the equivalent is now days as at least a bench mark to becoming a QS . I know the scams have ripped the arse out of the domestic market , but did not know they had started...

    new reqs

And yes you are quite right Engineer54 , I have seen it strongly implied , first hand and not by one of the grunt's on the ground either !

I thought you needed to have a QS to be full scope with the NICEIC ?

    Mice/Rat Problem, any ideas!

I was told by a rentokil bloke that if you have a hole that they keep coming through , fill it with wire wool and it will stop them dead . He reckoned that they can not stand chewing the stuff . Also if you do poison them , go for the solid type bait . If you have mice and use the loose grain...

Tax return allowance what to put through

Not sure if it is true , but a past accountant told me that if it was out of the hours worked by the tax man , it was considered to be claimable !? Having said that he is a past accountant for a reason .

    Who Are You?

To be honest Marvo , I think it is a good idea to see how the membership is made up .

    Tek Screws

I think I still prefer the stitcher's , they do tend to be what the erectors use to put the sheets up in first place .

    Tek Screws

    Hi Dave , pk ?

    Tek Screws

Each to thier own I suppose , I will have to give the screw fix ones a go then .
  14. JD6400

    Tek Screws

I know CEF sell something similar which are absolutely shrite , if we need that type of fixing , ! always speck Orbix .
  15. JD6400

    Tek Screws

Aha , we use the 14G + ones ! Which are 6.3 mm as opposed to the the other ones at 4.2 mm . They must come in bigger sizes , I just have not seen them .
  16. JD6400

    Tek Screws

I will take your word for it then , but the ones we have are no way near the same . That is the trouble with just having a picture to look at , it can be deceptive . I am not being smart , I do take your word for it!

    Tek Screws

To be honest I can not see the screw option , biting well enough to give a reliable fixing on single skin . The proper tek screws which Tel has linked to , would be my only choice between the two . Edit; The stitching one's would be best for what you are trying to achieve .

    poor workmanship

Sorry Dave , just noticed this . I do it this way as well , if running more than one circuit down the same multi-core .

    poor workmanship

Cheeky little ferker ! :wheelchair: Edit; And that was a cold stubby , before any smart arsk says .

    poor workmanship

I have no idea how the hell I have missed that little gem for so long ? Now I will be the first to admit that the reg's are not bedtime reading for me ! But whenever I take a sauna , I take a stubby with me and the reg's and have a brush up whilst relaxing .
