    Working out the impedance of a circuit

    Hi Guys, Just wondering if anyone can give me a nudge in the right direction on how to work out the impedance of a circuit. The values I have to work with are that its and 230v ac inductive load circuit with a phase angle of 40 degrees and a resistance of 14 ohms. I read and re-read my text...

    Here’s a brain tickler for trainees

    Ok first post on here so be gentle:p. Cable calcs would be as follows; Ib - 10000/230 = 43.5 amps so a 45 amp mcb in one of the spare ways It - 45/1.03 = 46.35 amps made some assumptions that the ambient temperature would be 20C and the cables would be by them selves not grouped together...
