I keep asking my boss to buy single phase three core but it almost always arrives three phase colours.
I don't have time to send it back so have to have Good stock of sleaves
Just had a Google and can now be had for just over £50.
They get cheaper and cheaper all the time.
I recently got a single phase to 3 phase one for an industrial pillar drill for £100.
Used to be considerably more than that.
Not used a ratchet on conduit but done loads of pipe work with one.
Makes it easier but top tip use a bit of cutting compound.
Gives a better finish and makes it easy to do the cuts.
Lazy way to supply outside light with dusk to dawn.
Green and yellow is switched live to bulkhead light.
Located in a junction box up in a false ceiling hidden above air con popes.
Problem is when it got to the light it had no tape.
Hours of fun finding that one
We had similar problems at work with scarifier.
The OPs were starting it engaging with the floor.
Turns out it needed to be tiped back and upto speed before it was engaged with the floor.
If engeged straight off it would overload and trip breaker it thr DB or tripped the trany
Cables live even with iso off.
Going to dodgy old style three phase plug.
Then out into SY cable.
All about to be removed and aux out going to the virtually empty DB above
Not even tried to put the live singles into the tray work
I always go for starrett.
Have tried others in the past and they don't last as long.
Most of mine are 16mm 20mm and 25mm.
I have a few others but hardly get used
