    Get a qualified electrician to do it leave well alone. What advice were you expecting ? It should be made a criminal activity working on electrical circuits or messing about with electrical installations without (proven) qualifications. The same way it is working on anything Gas. Cheers

    Two cables through conduit

    I did an Aiport earlier in the year and the lighting circuit was in 25mm conduit wired in 3 core t&e in 2.5mm and yes it's not easy to get hold of. And in LSF plenty of swearing going on during the install. And the reason why not in singles because it was run along tray !!

    I'd get back on that plane and go back to OZ the UK is a terrible place to work with rubbish wages. * when Teresa May was as the G20 last time I seem to remember the UK having the worst wage growth than any country in the G20. Or something to that effect.

    Thatch loft - rewire

    I'm pretty sure you need smoke detectors in the loft. I was working on a job down south and they were re thatching the house opposite. Looked amazing until they covered it in bird wire even the head Thatcher agreed looks better without. Cheers
