Outdoor junction box for armoured cable

You've used a black as a neutral, and the grey "neutral" as earth. If you're going to bodge it then bodge it properly and get a plastic stuffing gland for the T&E and a Wiska box that will at least be water tight and re-terminate the armoured correctly and with some earth sleeving and neutral...

House rewire. Unsure on terminating at Consumer Unit

I'd put a bit of heat shrink on some of those pre-made cables too with the copper showing and cut the ferrule lengths down.

    Dangerous Work Exposed.

Staggering, was the bus bar left with no cover strip or did you take it off? The terminations look shoddy and why on earth are there 4 x 32A MCB's! I've never yet come across Sector MCB's either...

    Interview advice

Do some research and get to know the basics but I'd expect the interview to be more involved with working at heights and the safety aspect of things you'd be quizzed on. Have you got a NRSWA qualification at all?

    Too clumsy

I think sometimes people need to advise trainees how to do something by coaching them correctly when they take a task on rather than physically telling someone this is how it's done by showing them. Do you think you're a bit clumsy? Why exactly has your mentor said this? Drill wise why not...

    JB's under floorboards

I'd use a multi tool to cut off the tongue and groove in a not too obvious place and gain access that way. Start on a Friday afternoon to get your access to boxes sorted then use the weekend to do the fault finding if necessary.

    Advice on pricing a homer

I'd charge by the hour in this instance, not sure how much experience you have. Moving the sockets might be an easier enough job but might turn out to be a pain in the arse.

Convert Ring Circuit to 2 Radial Circuits?

What about an incompetent person? Much better to disconnect both legs. We live in the real world where some people have a little knowledge to make this situation more dangerous than it should be. Don't seem the point of splitting a ring final unless one part serves an upstairs floor and...
