A neighbour asked me to connect up a Hive wireless controller.
Seemed easy enough, it uses the same standard back plate and connections. Straight swap there… and disconnected the wires going to the room stat, and linked through in the wiring centre.
That was before I went on holiday, and now...
Thanks m8, you have done some good searching. I would have thought a lot of sparkys would buy a tip like that for a few quid, so surprised there aren't more around, considering the amount of 1/4" hex bits made to suit various security screws that nobody has ever seen, while those cabinet type...
I think you are exactly right m8. Thats the set and thats where I got it from, well done, I had forgotten.
Now the bad news, I really need two of them now, one to replace the one missing from my set above and one for my leatherman/wera set. Looks like I would have to pay 100 euros to get two of...
Thanks guys, have explored all those options before, have the Wera one and have beaten cut off key into a 1/4" socket etc etc.
Nothing only the one pictured will fit into my little set. I had one, I took the picture of the one above, so somebody somewhere makes one.
Got these about 35 years ago as an apprentice, have tried every new fangled version cable stripper since and still rate them the best. Got a couple since, but still have the original ones as new, other than I heat shrunk new handles on them. Obviously they are for single cores only.
Anyone know where I can get these. I lost the one I had and don't know where I got it from. It fitted in my little Wera ratchet or my Leatherman and saved me from carrying a separate key.
So that's all it is, a cabinet key (double bit) with a 1/4" hex end.
Had a panel one time full of Chint equipment, all contactors, indicators, push buttons etc. looked to be exact replicas of the previous generation of Schneider/Telemecanique equipment. They worked ok, but some of the contactors "buzzed" a little.
Not sure if you are familiar with this type of unit, you wouldn’t have as much fun making it, but I used one recently, looks like it would do your job out of the box with an integrated web page for real time monitoring

Been using Wagos since they came out, love them, but was wondering do you use them in poured resin submarine joints. Obviously if the resin had any effect on the Wago plastic you would have bad connection, whereas using old style strip connectors, even if the plastic was affected,, the...
Have lots, but I recently got the 3 drawer box, love it. It's a brilliant design.Have all the hand tools instantly accessible without unstacking anything, yet all drawers totally secure when travelling.
Have had them all, Tanos systainer, L-Boxx, DeWalt Toughsystem, Tstak etc.
For me, Packout wins easily because all are just stackable boxes and the packout stacks and unstacks easier than all the rest. The fact that the mechanism is on the front is the real deal changer, because you can almost...
If you don't want ct's. You can use a direct one like this one, takes up same space as a rcbo, I think

or a single "mcb" size

It would be extremely unusual for a Logo to "lose it's program," without intervention from someone. Your best bet would be to find someone with a cable, who will attempt to download the original program from the Logo assuming the program has not been password protected and assuming the hardware...
