    My wife’s Evoque gets about 32 miles on a full charge and I get about 28 miles on my F-Pace. I don’t know how long a full charge takes but I believe each one takes a few hours. I suppose I could charge each car for 3 1/2hrs to see how far they charge up. I’ll try that.

    Many thanks for your help littlespark. It appears that there isn't an easy solution to the problem so I guess we'll just have to stagger the charging, probably charge each car on alternate nights. I don't think there's enough time to fully charge both cars alternately on the same night rate...

    Yes the 2 cars are plugged in on different sides of the garage. When you talk about a spare way I assume you're asking if there's a space in the consumer unit for another 16A MCB? If so, unfortunately there isn't.

    Hi littlespark, All the sockets in the garage are wired from the same 16A MCB, not sure if that means it's wired in a ring? The cable feeding the garage board goes underground from the house to the detached garage. All I can say about that is that it's a very thick black armoured cable...
