Please tell me what earth system this is!!
If you call it by the old description PME (protective multiple earthing) it makes more sense. For safety, in case the neutral becomes open circuit in the distributors network the neutral is "earthed" at "multiple" points along its run. I can see no issue with this arrangement that you show...- sheppertonspark

steel tails for new consumer unit
Do these tails bend ? Never seen or heard of steel tails, probably tinned copper as another states. If they bend they ain't steel !- sheppertonspark

100Ma Rcd main switch On TPN board
Would the 100mA RCD minimise disruption in the event of a single fault ? I don't think you could argue that it did so "requires improvement", C3.- sheppertonspark
