I think it’s gonna be the Milwaukee for me all things considered. Just watched a YouTube review and it even fits in the packout organiser perfectly . My other consideration is the clip price and being able to get a packet in screwfix in an emergency.
Thanks
Thanks , I’m edging towards the Milwaukee myself as the rest of my gear is m12/m18 so I’ve got batteries already . Im weighing up that versus the viper clip looks neater when clipped, but the clips are more expensive and can’t find a proper review where someone’s wired a house or 2 with it ...
trying to find one myself , I’ve just emailed legrand and they told me to order one from a retailer . Cant find a retailer selling them , she said part no is MGRJIG
Hello , unrelated to your problem , why does the solis app show the load peaking on the graphs when the pv is peaking ? I’d of thought load meant what the house was using .
Found those nicebutdim 👍.
I’d like a review where someone has done a couple of houses with it and then gives an opinion ideally . Thought they’d be something on YouTube like that now it’s been available for a few months .
Agreed ,
The price of clips is gonna be crucial to its success as this mounts up on a job . I’d imagine once they’ve sold a few the clips should come down in price . Did it feel nice to use ? I was considering the Milwaukee one as I’ve got loads of batteries but dunno how neat a job it...
Thanks for the replies , it looks a lot neater using individual clips than a one size fits all . As they’ve been available for a few months I’d love to hear how they perform. Was expecting youtube electricians to be reviewing them .
I don’t envy you fighting with 300m of it !
I’ve never seen that type of dimmer before but I much prefer it to the Mickey Mouse remote ones. Biggest hassle with all this stuff is finding brands you trust . Never heard of most of them and if you find something decent then it’s vanished next...
That looks really good👍.
I’m putting tape in the 45 degree profile that’ll face the back of each alcove. I ran the wires before it was skimmed . I’ll upload a photo when it’s finished as it’s hard to describe .
Many thanks ! That seems perfect .
It’s for a media wall that’s painted Matt black so I’m unsure of the brightness required , I’ve only ever fitted led tape under kitchen units before so had no need to dim them. This will be switched at the lightswitch so I was worried any remote dimmer would...
Hello,
Does anyone know of a Driver for led tape that can adjust the brightness on the driver itself by turning a screw etc ?
Just need something I can adjust to the correct level and then leave behind a panel and just switch off and on with a lightswitch .
Thanks , that’s an excellent point about the one handed unlatching , ive had the lbox in the past also and they always felt like they’d break but never did admittedly. Seems like the packout is the clear winner for quality.
Have you got any of the organisers or drawers ?
Fair point mate, I get the feeling that spares will be available many years in the future. Also they seem to be coming out with new accessories for it constantly
