Can I Put a house plug on a 120v 60hz 0.55amp microwave fan and motor?
The motor is a common AC 120v 60hz motor. I've seen a hundred of them around for various things. It is attached to a single vent squirrel cage fan. I meant that I don't have a ton of experience with electronics, NOT electricity. I've soldered resistors on other motors to step-down the amperage...- possumpie

I have a microwave oven that I tore apart before taking metal to scrap. I safely discharged the capacitor first, then took out the interior parts.
