Light Supplied from Wall Socket
Hi Littlespark I was told once that sockets had to be for portable equipment so fixing the cable would not be allowed. But if that is wrong I'm glad to hear it. Yes, I'd use round three core 0.75 with a 3A fuse in the plug. Thanks!- Andy Barnett

Hi I want to power a pendant light from a 13A socket. There is a convenient wooden beam above the dining table to run the cable along, then it can drop down the wall to a wall socket.
