    Feasibility of “reverse” storage heater?

I have an office which we only heat when I am in there, put it on a seperate 2 port valve and a simple time clock which we boost for an hour at a time, works for me.

    Feasibility of “reverse” storage heater?

I have a solar diverter and 10 450w panels on a really sunny summers dayday I may have enough residual energy to run a washing machine/dishwasher due to other stuff drawing power in the background, I divert to my immersion during the summer but wouldn't be confident of winter heat with a storage...

    SON Floodlight advice please.

Good point, this was one of my concerns with going towards LED's these lights are on an old property and if I replace like for like at least they know what they are getting, if the colour temp is wrong on an LED flood it could change the feel of the grounds/gardens. The downside is if I change...

    SON Floodlight advice please.

I think that even changing the bulbs is a bit of a fools errand, personally think they should be replacing with LED floods.

    SON Floodlight advice please.

Unbeliveably I have never come across a dead son floodlight, have a client who has about 6 which are not working, not sure what power the lamps are yet yet as it was too wet today to get the ladder off the van!;-) Thinking ahead in peoples experience is it worth changing the bulbs for an LED...

    Boiler not firing

Not old and efficient boiler we just live in a throw away society, unbeliveably it cost £100 to buy a virtually new and identical Worcester Bosch Ri Gas Boiler from someone locally who had just put a larger boiler in or was quoted £149 for a fan. Took the plumber under an hour to whip out the...

    Boiler not firing

I spoke to worcester bosch today and they said check the voltage on the fan, so looks favourite, no it is an old boiler which is being resited.

    Boiler not firing

Hi all, just a bit of self-doubt here, have wired in a Worcester Bosch Greenstar ri boiler with three two port valves which feed HW, Rads and one underfloor heating circuit. The boiler hower is not firing although clearly has power to it. When the time clock calls for heat there is power at the...

    Two Zone Controller Suggestions

I have a heating system which I need to buy a controller and thermostats for, will have 2 x two port valves, 1 zone will be rads and the other a single underfloor zone with independent pump, and hot water, was thinking about a Heatmiser UH4 with 2 wired thermostats? Any other or better...

paint ceiling 1st or drill holes ?

Paint first and then fit afterwards, use a dade and just hoover any remaining dust off. Fit a decent downlight where it actually fits the cut out size, I always try to use Enlite E5's and never had an issue, had plenty of issues with GU10 downlight cans though!

Customer Demanding We Pay For Her Blinds ££££££ Need Serious Advice.

My point is that she asked you to replace heaters, you have done that, she really not going to have a heater in the lounge, all she needs to do is tell you where it is going. She will need to move the mirror or make some concessions but that is not your concern. Hold your ground.
