I am getting an EV charge...
I have run new cables, segregated the SDI cable running back, so the LED will switch independently and have also installed a capacitor, since I was informed that would be a fix but it bursts light. The picture shows bottom mech with the switch on and bottom mech with the switch off. Thanks so...
I have moved into a new house and switches are Clipsal dimmer switches, which I cannot find online, so assume they are end of life. See attached.
They appear to be programmable, but how and for what, I do not know. So have the following questions:
a) What model are they?
b) Is there a manual...

Tested a Crabtree Polestar board today full of Sector rcbos, tested many of these boards and never seen this. The only Crabtree devices were two mcbs but the Sector devices are identical to Crabtree devices. Out of the nineteen four failed which is something you don't get with Crabtree rcbos...
Over the past few years i've been installing some Clipsal C-Bus home automation systems in some of the new houses i've been wiring. Usually these are bespoke, rural mansions.
The last project i had included over 100 lighting switch's, 50 electric blind relays, 50 electric curtain relays etc...

Hi chaps,
Going to look at a fault on the above system which i am guessing is the relay.
Client is complaining that one set of lights goes off randomly and then comes back on.
Has anyone any experience with this system?
Is there anything obvious to look for?
Cheers.
J
I'm pricing a job where this has been specified. I ran into another contractor who said he had had nothing but problems with this kit. I use other automation and lighting control systems adn I'm considering selling against. That said, if its a really good robust system, I'll consider learning...
Please could someone confirm that these are interchangeable?
My brother has a GET consumer unit and from the information I have read so far it seems that Clipsal available from Wickes or Hager can be used.
The reason for my asking is because he has experienced a couple of random RCD trips...
