Had an email tosay saying the elecsa brand is being retired. Seems it was sent to all NICEIC sparks aswell.
They are moving all the elecsa firms over to NICEIC and focusing on the one brand.
So Stroma is on life support as is Elecsa.
Won't be long until it's NICEIC vs Napit.
I could seriously...
Hi guys,
Is it true we can now no longer carry out EICR's under the scheme?
I went to reorder some Elecsa branded certs, and after i couldn't find them, i emailed the shop and they said they are no longer valid under 18th?

Hi everyone first time asking on this so sorry if it’s been asked before. I’ve been asked to carry out a rewire in a private house and I’ve recently started my own company so I’m not registered with NICEIC or SELECT as I’m in Scotland. I’ve read conflicting reports that I can and can’t provide...
How to certify work for inspection before joining Napit or Elecsa?
Afternoon All,
I am qualified to C&G 236 1 and 2 from along time ago! I also meet the criteria for both elecsa and Napit Part P schemes but I am a little confused by the requirement to get an example of my work tested and...
Hi guys, I’m setting up my own shop after quitting my job with a company. I’m looking to join the Nic or elecsa... question is what’s the difference?
I only plan doing domestic work and AV installs.
I have all the relevant qualifications, apprenticeship, 18th edition, etc.
Thanks
Nathan
Got my ELECSA annual assessment on Friday. Doing it on-line. Been brought forward a week as the assessor, who is apparently one of a number who are technically self employed is being kicked into touch by CERTSURE due to the current crisis!
Pardon my ignorance but has anyone had a refund on...
Is STROMA now owned by Certsure along with NAPIT, NICEIC and ELECSA?
Edit: NAPIT took over Stroma. Certsure operate NICEIC, ELECSA and NICEIC Cerifications.
Somebody did correct me the other day when I got this wrong. But I can't remember whether I was wrong in saying Certsure do own them, or...

Hi guys,
I'm a little confused as to how to go about providing certification for domestic.
I always though you HAD to be registered with one of these 3rd party bodies like the NIC. But i've recently learned that you don't neccessarily have to be? Is that really true?
Question 1:
So if I...

Recently I emailed Elecsa with a couple of questions for their tech support, using the main email address. As I hadn't received a within the week, I emailed again on Monday, no response.
