2 MPANS = 2 FiT applications, both at highest tariff, do you think so?

Hi, I've always thought that if a property (e.g. farm) had two MPANs then you can get two supplies in at the highest FiT tariff for the size of the system on each MPAN, i.e. they don't get aggregated but looking through the FiT legislation it also mentions the concept of a site being more than...

Feedback : Fit plugs flush to the wall with recessed socket

Any one out there ever needed to fit a recessed socket so the plug would fit flush with the wall. On a job and my customer need this so they can fit a piece of furniture close to the wall. Would there be any demand for some sort of recessed socket in certain situations??

Measuring residual current. How do I know what RCD to fit?

Hi, I have been tasked with rewiring most of the machines in a factory. Due to the age of the equipment and usage I believe residual current protection is a good idea. This presents an issue with how they want them wired. Currently we have cables hanging from the ceiling at multiple points of...

    New FiT rate?

Hi, quick question. My Dad`s looking to go ahead with a PV system, does he qualify for the current higher FiT rate if his installation is completed before 1st of April or does it go by when his elec supplier receives his FiT application form? From what I can gather the FiT isn`t dropping too...

Fancy lights that fit into suspended ceiling 600x600

Just want to ask if anyone knows a company that makes nice round lights that are designed to fit into suspended ceiling. I've seen them before somewhere. It looks like the round light is cut into the tile. But the tile is part of the light. It's one complete unit that sits in.

Apolagies for my naivety, I`m just starting off! I`ve only just got off and running and realise the FiT payments are going to change on the 1st of April. Lower Rate Fit

Anyone else missed the change in lower rate fit? I was just checking before I went to visit a swimming pool that I can't imagine will get anywhere near a D rating and discovered it's gone down to 6.61p. I don't understand how it's gone down if the rate for 4kwp and 10kwp didn't hit the numbers...
