I bought a brand new fluke 1653b just before Christmas, however I haven't really used it much as its mainly for personal use as I am looking to set up alone in the near future and I use a separate tester at work. When I bought the tester it came with a valid calibration certificate as this was...
Hey folks, I have a Fluke 1654B for sale. It is brand new, unused, with all the leads still in the original , sealed packaging. I am looking for £300 for it, that's inc. postage so it's a good deal. PM me for details and pics!
Just bought a fluke t90, can you turn the beep off when testing voltage. Always used martindale and seperate continuity tester( cheap multi for buzzer). Thought these looked good but anoying everyone now.
A relative has asked me to install an electric shower. He suggested i use an old electrical point that used to be used for an immersion heater, but has now been plated off with a blank plate and the live and neutral wire inside have been taped off with red insulation tape.
I used my fluke clamp...
as title. i have a fluke 1503 ( cont./ins. tester). when using it, it fires up as normal with thew 4 ----, showing nulled leads and ready to measure. pressing the test button does nothing, but if i press the lock button, i get an accurate reading ( e.g. a 4.7K resistor reads 4.61K on the fluke)...
Recently been informed about the fluke ts100 which is a cable fault locator with a built in toner, just wondering if anybody has used it as it doesnt come cheap and i am not sure if it is worth the outlay. Thanks in advance!
Evening all..
I will be buying one of the above but am struggling to choose between them both.
I am 70% for the T150 and 30% for the T5.
Lots of people seem to rate the T5.
What I particularly like about the T150 is that the buttons are on the probe so you only need 2 hands for all actions...
Hi
I've got a Fluke 1652 which has the old style "Robin SL" test leads with the clip on fused croc clips/probe.
Unfortunately one of my leads has recently become damaged giving me some wildly inaccurate readings (refuses to zero and if you hold test button down on continuity test and waggle...
I've done a search on above, but doesn't appear to be many recent posts. What make of voltage tester are you using. I have Dilog Combivolt, the lead from the main body has become exposed. Not very good with less than two years of service. Anything more robust?

Just picked one of these up today and was wondering if anyone else has one to compare mine to.
Fluke 1AC-II Voltage Detector Pen | Voltage Testers | Screwfix.com
Reason I ask is mine seems to be a little insensitive, Not like most others where it goes off when you are 6 inches away from...
Hi all,
Recently, when needing to test earth fault loop impedance on a circuit with a RCBO/RCD my tester just reads >2000 for evert test, even when I know the R1+R2 and Ze are fine and when added together would be well within limits.
Is there something I can do to fix this or is it time for a...
I've noticed that these have some kind of a black seal around the lip, and was wondering if anyone owns one and does it stop moisture getting in when you leave test gear in the van overnight. I've started bringing my metrel in at night as its only the standard fabric bag that it came with.
Hi all, having a bit of an issue with the above meter. I have owned it for about a year now and have recently noticed I am getting a reading a reading of around 9 ohms between the leads. As far as I'm aware there is no way of nulling the leads but I might be missing something? I don't use it for...
Hi guys looking at training for thermal imaging. Will be used in hospital environment and is to improve condition reporting mainly but may also be used for plumbing/heating issues if the need arises.
I have seen 1 day course tailed for electrical inspection and 5 day course run at...
Hi,
I have just purchased a second hand Fluke 1651B Multi Function Tester, which is caibrated and serviced. There was a set of new leads with it complying to GS38, with 500mA fuses in. Everytime I try to take a Ze it blows the fuses.
Does anyone else have a Fluke MFT and if so what size...
Hey. Does anyone have a source for replacement fluke LCDs ?
I have 87v here with a cracked display and I'm struggling to find a UK source for a replacement part. I've contacted fluke they've told me they won't supply a spare but will fix it if I send it to them, it's a 5 minute job to repair so...
I bought this used off eBay about 2 years ago and shortly after changed jobs so it has sat unused in my ownership.
It is in mint condition, the only flaw on the set is some staining on the leather case where the previous owner had his name.
Here's a link to functions and specs ...
Hi Guys, we are currently trying to locate several SWA cables in and around our carparks. I have bought a Fluke 2042 cable Generator and Locator but am struggling a bit.
The Gen has 2 ports on the top, can anyone advise on where we connect these to the exposed (dead) SWA? We think there may be...
