    What’s the best way to fix this small gap in the consumer unit?

    No idea why this has happened… What’s the best way of fixing this? I’m thinking of buying a plastic blank to push in and cutting it to fit in?

    UK Fill the gap with what ?

    Came across a white backbox with plastic clipped out to let the 2.5 twin and earth enter from above. The small gap was not filled ( I usually fill it with silicone) . Dawned on me that I’ve never seen A recommendation on what silicone type to use or is there a better way?

    air gap bettwen mcb

    Reading the manufacture instructions for this inline electric central heating heater - it states "a blank must be fitted between each MCB in the consumer unit to provide ventilation" ?!?!?! It then says On completion of the work the installation must be tested to IEE Regulations and an NICEIC...
