Does anyone know if the Memera 2000AD fuse box is now obsolete . MY EICR report says there is no RCD protection to 3 circuits so I need to replace it as it is obsolete . .
If have to replace this can some recommend a suitable one please which I can pick up from a local DIY place
Do these...
Hi,
My husband and I recently moved to the UK and a new flat, after living always in accommodations. We have some big answers about the electrical system in the flat, and I hope you could help me.
I'll leave you some photos to explain ourselves.
Q.1: we have one switchboard that says “storage...
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are well.
I've just moved into a flat. It has got economy 7(duel electricity tariff) floor heating/boiler. The mains switch is Memera 2000 and it has got a program planner as attached. Do you guys know how to configure the program planner so it switches on only at...
Hi all,
Hopefully picked the right place to post about this..!
I've just completed an EICR and there was a second board mounted to the water cylinder which does both the hot water and heating.
It's in an apartment (I'm assuming every flat will be the same).
I've told the landlord that I need...
Good afternoon all
I have a friend whose flat has a Memera 3 consumer board, which has the push-button test MCBs.
One of them does not trip when when the button is pressed, so obviously I wish to replace this for her.
However, it seems to be difficult to get hold of these now. I wonder if...
Evening all. On a job today i've cracked the front of the customers consumer unit because some muppet has put an overly deep MCB in which clashes with the front cover. I hadn't noticed initially as they had obviously not tightened the screws fully previously. I was putting the cover back on...
I was doing a job today, moving a few sockets in a domestic kitchen. Whilst doing my tests, I had the cover off the MEM Memera 2000. I checked the tightness of all the connections, and found that the screw for the 25mm 6181y live incomer to the isolator didn't appear to tighten.
There was no...
Hi,
Got to wire in a hot tub next week and need a 32A MCB to go in an MEM Memera 2000 board. Not a board I have done much with.
Does anyone know what else will fit into it? Just needs to be an MCB.
Hi fellas,
Anybody got any of these breakers kicking about in unit/garage?
Trawled ebay but no joy as yet
MEM MEMERA 2000 AB MCB 20 AMP TYPE 2 & B M6 BS3871 DELTA CIRCUIT BREAKER
Hi guys
I have a job to install some new lighting but sadly there is no RCD on the lighting circuit and i cannot meet the requirements for not needing one! My question is, is their any other RCBO that will fit these boards as my local wholesaler has quoted £90 and a 5-6 week wait for one of...
Hi my house has a memera 2000 fuse box. The kind which still requires fuses to be placed in it. Recently it has been tripping on a regular basis every couple of weeks or so.
I have managed to isolate the problem by pulling out one of the 30 amp fuses. This allows all other electric to be on...
Hi Guys,
Have seen some similar threads on these boards but still after some wisdom . . .
At clients yesterday and completed tests on a lighting circuit that was moved to the RCD side of the board.
Came to complete the RCD tests before packing up to go home and that is where it all began...
Adding a towel rail to an existing circuit - but there is no RCD protection in the Memera 2000 CU.
I guess MEM RCBOs should be the preference but they're expensive. Anybody used anything else? I know we shouldn't but! I've noticed that someone else put in a Wylex RCBO!
Hi
I have seen a couple of posts on this subject but they go back a bit and dont appear to have a definitive answer. I have a MEM Memera 2000 CU, where I need to provide RCBO protection to the lighting circuit to cover some additions I have made in the bathroom. There is already a Eaton 16A...
