PEX Crimp ring test I'm installing PEX b for the first time, and I was wondering if the Go no go tool needs to fit correctly on all sides of the ring after crimping. I did one fitting and it fits correctly on one side but doesn't fit if I try the other direction. Any insight?

I am in training and decided to do some dead tests using my second hand Fluke MFT 1653B on an upstairs ring. I did the tests at a socket rather than at the CU. Results end to end L - L 0.74 ohms, end to end N-N 0.76 ohms, end to end cpc >2000 ohms. I checked all the sockets on the ring and...
Guys non domestic stuff here but is it true that you don't carry out ring final tests on EICR.
Or is it that you don't have to and done do it as a matter of course anyway or do you charge extra for doing stuff not needed.
I'm of the opinion of its not much extra to do it then I'll just do it...

Hi, I was wondering if you guys can help with some errant test results.
I'm testing a ring and i get
L-L = 0.41
N-N = 0.40
E-E = 0.63
Great
Figure 8 L-E = 1.0 ohms.
Still good
Figure 8 at each socket varies from 0.8 ohms to 1.1 ohms (I was expecting much lower)>
Oddly Zs = 0.23 (which is...

Hi Guys,
One of loads of questions,
In A Brian scaddan book ive got it says, if you do the figure of eight, i.e link N-P at the c.u for instance ,then go in each socket on the ring and test between N-P, if you get a nil reading its either a open circuit or a reverse ploarity between N-E or...
