Hi all.
I’m interested in views on the various job referral schemes and how they’ve worked for people. I’m wanting to attract more work.
As far as I can tell there are 2 types of schemes : membership schemes such as Trustatrader and Checkatrade and then commission schemes such Local Heroes and...
Morning all.
Two separate questions if you could help.
1. My boss has asked me to become QS aswell as himself. Are any of you in the same boat? and did you ask/get a pay rise for it?
2. Does anyone use tendering websites? Been looking into them but sure on them....
Hi everybody,
I've just joined the forum, and posted in the new member introductions but thought I should also post here where it's more relevant.
I'm a full-time web developer looking to eventually branch out on my own. I have relatives in the industry and an interest myself, so helping...
Hi everybody,
I've just joined the forum, and it's great to be a member!
I'm a full-time web developer looking to eventually branch out on my own. I have relatives in the industry and an interest myself, so helping electricians with their websites/online marketing is hopefully a good fit for...
I thought I'd start a thread for link building for your websites. We have had a few but the way the Internet is, I'd guess many sites in the old threads have now closed etc
Those of you who consider link building worthy, please post your website in this thread and allow others to post your...

I've just been having a scout around at the competitions websites, and I'm starting to see why people might be pretty baffled by the current situation with FITs, system prices etc.
There are still websites out there with FIT payback calculations based on the 43.3p FIT rate, websites mentioning...
Hi Guys,
As work is quiet, at the moment (unless you are MCS and in that case your going to be really busy for a few weeks)
I'm getting around to writing my own website.
how many of you guys have written your own websites?

Hi chaps,
Have many of you guys got a website for your business, I am thinking if getting one but wondered how effective they are in this type of work. I have had some crazy quotes ad well to have one made, but if it brings work in then fine, has anyone done their own.
Lately I seem to be finding loads of these sites springing up that promise upon payment of £x they will find business for you, or they will give leads each costing however much.
My question is does anyone have any experience of them and are they worth investing in?
