I get the sense that this is intentionally being drawn out by the OP for the sake of it.
 
Very rough rule of thumb for sizing cables is that for lengths up to 50m the current carrying capacity is all you need to consider. Above 50m other considerations come into play.
 
Would love to know how many 'concerned' electricians actually contacted them. I'm rather offended that they think so little of us that they think we might base our entire installation and design on a single and obvious spoof video. Or are they worried that good Youtube channels like eFixx that give out free training are long term denting their sales of books and guides.

Why would ‘concerned electricians’ contact suppliers unless they fell for it hook line and sinker.
Somewhat ironically, I thought a video about the new RCD testing regime was an April fool and that turned out to be real.
It’s sad that 0.5 sq mm T+E was the more plausible of the two.
