From the consumer unit i've ran a 3-core cable to the light, and then from the light to the switch which is a 2 way switch, where does the live and neutral go into l1,l2, common terminals?

I know if the switch was 1st then the lives would go through common and L1 and the neutrals would go into a terminal strip butI cant work out what to do with the switch after the light rather than before....

help would be greatly appreciated thanks :)

Dont want to p888 on yer bonfire mate, but i get the feeling you dont know what you are doing:(.

Do you want to wire a one way lighting circuit or a 2 way lighting circuit.

Cheers.............Howard

A picture tells a thousand words, as they say. Have a look here...it should help. Please be careful if you're not an electrician....ideally, get a professional to sort it for you. 3-core is for 2-way switching not for consumer unit supply.
