10.5kw shower info

Sorry about bothering you lads new to domestic usually commercialand industrial. A 10.5KW Shower requires 10mm2 and a 40a breaker backed up by a RCD is this acceptable

Regs and cable cals are still the same!!!!!

Which is what you will need to do as it all depends on length, installation method etc.

However, normally, 40A on 10mm is fine, and it will need an RCD on the shower, as well as all the other circuits in the bathroom its in.

thanks the shower will be rcd protected but am i still required to upgrade the bathroom lights to RCD protection allthough im just replacing the shower cable
