anyone got one of these i have had a 10.8v bosch in the past and was looking to get something similar

Hi I am always wary of deals where you get a toolbox, laser with a drill etc. Sparky is quite a big brand but I am not sure they offer the same quality as the Bosch. I have been using Bosch 10.8 stuff for a few years now and love it. I have a drill/driver, angle drill, multi cutter, torch & impact driver and they all get some good use.

Take a look on screwfix as they are doing the new Bosch screwdriver with 2 batteries for £99 which is a good buy : Bosch GSR 10.8-LiC 10.8V Screwdriver / Drill - Screwfix.com, Where the Trade Buys

Or if you are not too bothered about the very latest model you can get this : Bosch 0615990A96 10.8V Drill & Impact Driver - Screwfix.com, Where the Trade Buys

However if you are wanting a proper chuck, the Bosch GSR10.8V-Li-2 is still retailing around £120.

Bosch also give you 3 years warranty on all blue tools which is an excellent deal.

No but there is a new model of the Bosch impact driver out so previous verions are being reduced to under £100:
Bosch GDR10.8V-LI 10.8V Li-ion Impact Driver (2 Batteries)
I've got one of these and I reckon it's one of the best tools I've ever bought. OK it has a hex chuck so you can only use screwdriver bits or hex drill bits, but surely you have a drill with a 13mm chuck anyway?
I've not used the 'sparky' brand but personally I'd rather go with a brand I know and trust, such as Bosch professional.

I recently got the White makita twin set 145£ cannot recomend enough. The 10.8v get alot more use than my 18v impact driver.

I have had the Makita white 10.8 for a while and agree that its great, a mate has tried to get the Bosch from screwfix and not available even to order so he is on ebay looking for the makita its more expensive but can you put a price on the PIMP box it comes in LOL

I have a Bosch 10.8 v lithium impact driver and drill and would recomend them.
I want to get the multi tool that runs on the same 10.8 lithium batteries.
I did look at the sparky deal in screwfix but the drill did not look anywhere near as good quality as the equivalent bosch or makita.

Alright lads, what woud you guys recomend getting, the impact driver or the drilldriver? what do you tend to use more?

cheers

Impact driver all day long!
If you were to get a drill driver get the one with an adjustable chuck and not the hex chuck.
The impact driver is far better for putting screws in as it does not round the heads off as the drill drivers tends too.
