I have been waiting to get rid of ( Now two ) large muck heaps at home for about 3 months now , as it is bloody wet the ground will not travel !
I went out to start it today as the ground is now hard , but the mini digger that i use to load the spreader with had a frozen water pump and a frozen diesel pump , it took 2 hours with a blow torch ! ( Would of used the JCB Loadall but that was dead to the world )

Then both tracks were frozen solid , so i had a bit of fancy digger dancing to get in place .
I then went to empty the half a load of muck already in the spreader and found that was frozen solid and stuck to the bed of it , I only noticed this after i had bent the discharge mechanism .
So i thought i would use the Steam cleaner to defrost the muck in the spreader , only to find it was also frozen and now with a split pressure gauge !

I also in between this got the quad stuck in the muck heap and slipped while trying to get it out and chipped about 5 teeth .

I am mostly staying in the armchair next to the fire in the front room tomorrow now !!!!

I'm off to Egypt monday (work not play) for 4 weeks 1 back then another 4, I hear its 20 degrees there but I'm actually gutted that it might snow while I'm gone as I promised the kids a decent snowman if we get enough snow but that was before I got on this job

(I'm quite the amateur sculptor with the old white stuff couple of years ago did one on the front garden with the kids, one of the lads left a bucket next to it when we came back later there was ÂŁ3.50 in change in it people had been stopping to have a look and saw the bucket and dropped some coins in)
