100KW Install FIT rate

We are looking at a 100kW field mount system for an individual and have a query regarding the FIT.

The FIT rate is 6.85 but as this installation will have to have an export meter will he get paid the additional 4.64p for everything he exports as well making the actual rate 11.49p/kWh?

The array will be grid connected but will not supply a building (autonomous)

correct I think, though does that factor in the reduction in FIT from 1st Jan for above 50kWp systems?

so those rates only apply til end of Dec, after that it's 6.61p per kWh

If he's got 100kW and is exporting it all he'll probably get more on the open market than the FiT rates, certainly he'd be naive not to investigate it.

If he goes down the Fit route, also who he sells his export to doesn't have to be the same provider that pays his generation tariff, and no the rate isn't, 11.49p as generation and export are two separate payments.
