Thanks Dave I was editing putting in the bit about convenience.
The T&E is buried. in the wall. I'll wire tommorrow and report back.

For testing during the install I will do continuity and IR from the cu to the junction box .
Then test from the armour to all the cores - then IR Would that be sufficient.

You need to test the complete circuit to get your R1+R2, although it could be done in two stages there is no need to do so in your case.
Same goes with IR.
The issue with doing the tests in stages is that if you then make connections after doing the tests then those connections have not been tested.

if the house is pme and you have extraneous metal in the shed, then that cpc in the 10mm T/E will be undersized. you'll need to paralle some 10mm Gn/Y with it.

The cable's mine now. I would offer him a nice drink, but he's gave me the cable in lieu of a favour i did him.
Been doing some cable calcs, hmmm I could have a tumble dryer and a chest freezer down the shed, then the missus would owe me a favour :tt1:

Lucky your not married to my missus.............hey darling I moved the tumble dryer and the chest freezer down to the shed for you ............

The second word from her would be off................

We haven't got a tumble drier or a chest freezer - no space in kitchen for them.:hurray:
