110 transformer

I want to fit a 110v transformer. 1500VA. Shall i put a rotary isolator inline with this. Iv seen a few without and think it would be better to have a point of isolation. How do i convert 1500VA to amps as i want to now mcb/ cable size

1500/110 = 13.63A on the secondary. approx. 8A primary ( assuming a pf for the tx as 0.8 ). suggest 2.5mm cable on primary side with 16A MCB, might require a type c to allow for surge.

Think you want to be looking at the primary side, not secondary, what is it, 230/11oV step down transformer..?

Its a 3 phase board. so 230 down to 110v if i use sp mcb. Shall i put a swith in line as point of isolation also?

single pole MCB (+N&E) to D/P isolator , then to TX.
