How do you test a 110v extension lead.We are testing in a very similar way to an iec lead but obviously with 110 v adaptors connected. the result always comes back as a multiple fault on the polarity test.
good news and bad news............ im not cracking up the pat tester is fault ............ also any ideas where i can buy a new transformer from. thanks
Hi again, glad it's the machine not you,....I recently bought a 3.3kva 16a twin socket transformer on E-bay for ÂŁ28, I wanted one so that I could power my Pat machine up from a 110v supply in order to do 110v load tests. There seems to be plenty on E-bay, just that they have high delivery charges due to the weight of them.Alternatively, look on MachineMart or Toolstation, they have them at reasonable prices.
Godd luck.
