hows it going folks, i have a 12V jeep toy which i hsvent looked after and the sunny days are here again and the kids want it but battery wont charge. it did say to charge everymonth even if not using it, but it lay idle for over a year.

now looking at new batteries would you reccomend replacing like for like which is 12v 9.5Ah lead acid rechargable or could this differ. cheers if you knows anything that can help

As long as it's 12v,I'd go as many mAh that you can fit in it, and if you can get lithium, all the better. I wouldn't go under the mAh that is in it already, mind.

I take it the charging mechanism is a standard car battery charger here, or is the charger built in? If it's built in be carefull to check it will work with the type of replacement battery. Otherwise yes, replace with 12V and the same (or higher) Ah rating.

was wondering about this myself

had a couple of jeeps came the standard 12v 7ah SLA battery

and i don't think they're suitable for 'deep discharge'

will those chargers work with a slightly bigger battery?
